Sizzy Rocket and Sophomoe Cicuit Join Forces to Host Zine Stream Workshop on July 23rd!
She may have just popped up on our radar just a short time ago, but she’s already making moves. Singer-songwriter Sizzy Rocket is hosting a zine workshop alongside Sophomore Circuit on July 23rd. The zine stream will be hosted on Sizzy Rocket (@sizzyrocket) and Sophomore Circuit (@sophomorecircuit)’s Instagram pages, starting at 12pm PT/3pm ET.
Officially debuting all the way back in 2016 with her first album Thrills, Sizzy Rocket almost immediately found success with her viral lead single “Bestie”. Now with all of these viral credits under her belt, Sizzy Rocket created this persona of your cool best friend…we all have that one we will easily cause chaos with. Having developed a cult-like following over the years since, Sizzy Rocket continues to feed and entertain the masses with projects like 2017’s Hot Summer mixtape and 2019 album GRRRL. When not working on her own projects, Sizzy writes songs for plenty of other girl pop artists and groups.

They run a fan zine called Sophomore Circuit and did some incredible work in their last issue on the theme of Revolution — I wanted to continue that work with a new theme called MOMENTUM. I designed the cover and wrote an editor’s letter, and we all contributed a few pages. I feel so lucky to be able to discuss politics, change, and the world with a group of such smart, talented, artful young people. All event donations and profits from the sale of the MOMENTUM zine will go directly to the Transgender Law Center. The zine will be available to purchase on Sizzy’s merch store on Friday, July 24th. All of Sizzy’s past zines are available to view on the Lost Chrrry Records Digital Zine.
