Based between Ahmedabad, India, and New York City, Sid Seth is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist whose music blends soul, pop, and deeply personal storytelling. After moving to New York to study at the Manhattan School of Music, he developed a style centered on emotional honesty and human connection, drawing from experiences of love, vulnerability, memory, and life between cultures. Whether performing on piano or guitar, Sid keeps the focus on intimate songwriting, an approach that has taken him to venues including Rockwood Music Hall, Bowery Electric, Feinstein’s 54 Below, and The Green Room, as well as stages across India and Sofar Sounds tours throughout both countries.

Sid Seth’s latest single, “Precious Gift,” is his most vulnerable release to date, written in the wake of losing his mother. Although the chorus was first written years earlier while he watched her health decline, Sid wasn’t ready to fully confront those emotions until after her passing. Built around warm, gently plucked guitar and understated production, the song leaves space for every lyric to resonate, while Sid’s rich, soulful vocals carry the grief, love, and longing at its core. Delicate harmonies add further warmth, resulting in a deeply personal tribute rooted in honesty and remembrance.
Recording the track also became a turning point for Sid as an artist. With support from producer Andrew and a close group of collaborators, he found the courage to return to performing and discovered that sharing his own grief often encouraged listeners to share their experiences too.
