Roc Dubloc and Idle Days Team Up For Emotive & Big Room Inspired Single “One In A Million”
Even though you debut on a label with a certain style/sound in mind, doesn’t mean you can’t flip the script. On our latest visit over to Protocol we are checking out “One In A Million”, the newest single from Roc Dubloc and Idle Days. While Protocol has been around for a decade now (being founded by Nicky Romero in 2012), the imprint still knows how to cultivate talented producers to consistently tweak their overall label sound. THis time they are making space for Roc Dubloc, who was been gaining massive support from playmakers like Hardwell, Benny Benassi, Fedde Le Grand, and more! He actually just released his previous single, “Plata O Plomo” over on Revealed Recordings, expanding the newcomer’s reach.
While Dubloc is still new to the scene, he’s already getting in line to give his hand at the signature Protocol style. Originally debuting on Protocol earlier this year with a retrowave style, Dubloc is back with his second single “One In A Million”, skipping over a few genres into something a bit more fitting for the Protocol label. Joining forces alongside vocalist Idle Days, Dubloc created a big room progressive house single that not only sounds like it was made by a seasoned Protocol veteran but impresses us as a second official single. Utilizing the track’s soulful and emotional vocals to set the tone, Dubloc let’s the track soar into the night as the energy erupts, creating positively good vibes into the crowd or your headphones. With two examples of Dubloc’s evolving style under our belt, we seriously can’t wait to see what kind of sound that he will tackle next.
