R3HAB and Deorro Collaborate for the First Time in 10 Years On Latin-Dance 180 BPM Heater – “Gózalo.” Out on Sony Music

It has only been a decade right? Things haven’t changed that much (lies). Anyway on our latest visit to Sony Music we are checking out “Gózalo”, the latest drop from R3HAB and Deorro. R3HAB has toured some of the best clubs in the world and amassed more than 300 million streams of his debut album. What is actually amazing however is that R3HAB was able to accomplish this with no major label backing, only working through his CYB3RPVNK imprint. Through his expanded efforts to increase CYB3RPVNK’s roster, R3HAB has been recruiting a fantastic variety of up-and-comers to provide a major range of music to his audience.  With R3HAB consistently popping up on our radar, we have absolutely no idea what he is going to do next and can’t wait.

Erick Orrosquieta, known professionally as Deorro, is a Mexican-American DJ and producer who gained prominence in the EDM scene with his energetic and brash sound. Initially rising to fame through SoundCloud under the alias TON!C, Deorro became widely recognized for hits like “Five Hours” (2014) and “Five More Hours” featuring Chris Brown (2015). His music, released under major labels like Dim Mak and Mad Decent, often blends elements of house, EDM, and Latin music. He has also collaborated with notable artists such as Laidback Luke, Steve Aoki, and Gareth Emery, producing remixes and original tracks that have charted internationally.

In recent years, Deorro has continued to diversify his sound, exploring Latin influences more deeply. His debut Latin album, “ORRO,” released in 2022, features 18 collaborators across 19 tracks, showcasing his versatility and cultural roots. With a mix of high-energy singles and genre-blending albums, Deorro remains a prominent and innovative figure in both the EDM and Latin music scenes.

It’s been a decade since Deorro and I dropped “Flashlight” – a track which has had a global impact on the EDM scene and still features in all my sets. Ten years later, we’re joining forces for “Gózalo,” a record that combines Deorro‘s Latin roots with my high-energy sound. Ever since I started working on it, the hook has been stuck in my head, and now that it’s out, it can be stuck in yours too. Vamos!” – R3HAB

Excited to be working with my brother R3HAB again on something with a little Latin flavor this time.” – Deorro

Multi-platinum Dutch-Moroccan DJ and producer R3HAB joins forces with Mexican-American producer Deorro for the first time in ten years on their new release – “Gózalo.” The two artists combine their unique and dynamic sounds by fusing traditional Latin rhythms, courtesy of Deorro‘s side, with R3HAB‘s signature driving, high-energy bassline almost reminiscent of hardstyle, making for a dancefloor heater that seamlessly bridges the gap between the two genres. “Gózalo” evokes midsummer parties with high vibes and grooving long into the night, making it the perfect crowd pleaser. R3HAB and Deorro‘s last collaboration was “Flashlight,” released on Spinnin’ Records a decade ago. It made a mark as one of the most known tracks from big-room EDM‘s golden era, and still remains a fan favorite with over 130M streams and regular appearances in sets to this day.
