Protocol’s Trilane & YARO Drop New Effortlessly Bouncy Single “Unlove You”
You couldn’t keep these two away from the Protocol space. On our most recent visit to Protocol we are checking out “Unlove You”, the lastest single from YARO and Trilane. Since Protocol is all about promoting the fresh blood added to their roster, we are no surprise that they have expanded their recruitment pool. Between these two artists, they have been featured on many of the large labels such as Trilane being a five-time release for Protocol, along with both Revealed and Wall Recordings. Will he finally find his home within the Protocol roster? We’ll have to see what the future holds. Now official Protocol veterans, Trilane is quickly becoming engrained in the Protocol culture and roster. While YARO is just starting their career, they have already produced for artists like Benjamin Ingrosso and Icona Pop. YARO was already well-known in Europe as a genius percussionist, as they were one of the youngest Swedes to travel with the St. Petersburg Symphony Orchestra.
Even though Protocol and the progressive house genre go hand in hand, it’s up to artists like YARO and Trilane to break that stereotype and help guide the imprint in another direction. Officially being Trilane’s twelfth drop on the Protocol label, the artist recruited both YARO and Swedish singer EEVA to add their talents into the mix. “Unlove You” explores a combination of traditional house music and UK Garage, focusing on an uplifting melody and leading the piano lead an addictive bassline. Not only is the track addictively bouncy it oozes so much groove in each beat that it makes us long for the live experience once again. When you have a veteran producer like Trilane in the producer chair, we can’t help but be entertained and excited.
