Producer Carnage Unveils New House Alias GORDO and Debut Hard House Single “KTM”

Once you make an impact on a genre as much as today’s producer has, it is only natural to jump into a brand new pool. On our latest trip over to Ultra Records we are checking out “KTM”, the newest single from Carnage…or GORDO? This Vegas-based producer made himself a pioneer in the hard bass and trap communities, finding his strive quickly. Carnage was even one of the first major artists to incorporate hip-hop elements into his work, creating a hard bass and urban style. Carnage went on to create Heavyweight Records in 2017, surrounding himself with crazily unique producers in the hardcore and hip-hop genres. While we have come to know Carnage for his aggressive hard bass and hard trap sound, he decided to throw a wrench in this image and jump on over to the world of house music. Yes, alongside this brand new track Carnage unveiled his new moniker, GORDO. What kind of mark will a producer like Carnage leave on house music? Only time will tell.

When you have such a large body of work like Carnage has, you need to find a complimentary outlet for you to expand it. This brand new single, “KTM”, is the very first single leading Carnage’s latest project, GORDO, as he ventures into the house music world that we know and love. The track still features on the heavier side of house music, blending elements of tech-house with light doses of bass music. Thanks to a strong debut, GORDO has already slayed multiple sold-out shows, including shows during 2021’s Super Bowl weekend in Tampa. Gaining the support of playmakers like Sebastian Ingrosso, Diplo, and FISHER, GORDO is on track to be one of the hottest house acts to burst onto the scene in 2021.  How do you think GORDO will fare in this new landscape?
