Producer Bass Temple Releases Sensual Bass Single “Ritual”, OUT NOW on Gravitas Recordings
You take one step into the temple, and the allure and curiosity will lock the doors behind you. On our latest visit over to Gravitas we are checking out “Ritual”, the latest drop from Bass Temple. Bass Temple began introducing the world to her bass music beats back on the Big Island of Hawaii. Her DJ journey began as a resident DJ for Out of the Box, the longest-running monthly bass music event. This led to plenty of headlining performances at some of the Island’s biggest events including Petting Zoo, EarthDance, Garden Temple, Hawaiian Sanctuary’s EDance, and An-ten-Nae’s “Revival” retreat! Now that she has relocated to Denver, Bass Temple has kept up her momentum with performances at The Black Box, Your Mom’s House, Denver Ecstatic Dance, Cervantes Masterpiece, CloZee’s “Voyage” Festival, presented by Odyzey Music and Unison Festival. It’s clear that Bass Temple has quickly become a staple of the live appeal of bass music and we know a festival is going to be poppin’ if Bass Temple is in the lineup.
Bass Temple is on our list of producers that we need to prepare ourselves for because each time she slides into our DMs we never know what kind of single or project she has just waiting in the wings. The latest addition to the Bass Temple catalog, “Ritual” is a sensual bass music single that isn’t afraid to pull any punches and instead hits the listener with plenty of groove to satiate. Striking just the right balance between being cinematic in scope and being fun and danceable, “Ritual” is overflowing with chaotic energy that just needs to burst forth. The track opens with a heavy bass growl, teasing a heavy bass track, but LIINKS’s elegant vocal performance cuts through everything and embraces the listener. This embrace transforms into a hold, trapping the listener into fully indulging in Bass Temple’s exotic synths. If you have any ounce of bass head in you, “Ritual” should be a highlight of your next listening session.
