Plastik Funk is Back to Raise Our Spirits With His Stadium X Remix “Those Were The Days”
When you can actually remix a solid track and turn it into completely your own, that is when you are solid in our book. While we strive to make it through our work week, we are treated to the latest remix by Plastik Funk with Marc Scibilia & Stadium X “Those Were The Days” (Plastik Funk Remix). The man behind the stage name, Rafael Ximenez-Carrillo, has been rather busy making waves and generating music for the masses. Rafael has played some of the best festivals and shows underneath Armada Music. Most recently, Rafael began his #FunkYouVeryMuch Monthly Radion Show which is just filled with pure energetic tracks.
Now since we are analyzing a remix this week, how does it hold up? As Rafael says, “With one listen to Plastik Funk‘s new remix of Stadium X‘s “Those Were the Days,” you’ll be transported back to the times spent sneaking out of your parents’ house, getting drunk for the first time on cheap liquor, and raving under the bright lights and throbbing bass of your first festival.” This remix definitely follows Plastik Funk’s mantra of raising peoples spirits with his music and the euphoric vocal work from Marc Scibilia just elevate the track even further.
Make sure you give the remix a full listen below:
