LA Producer MORTEN Back With Latest Single “Keep Me From You” Ft. ODA

While we often have a habit of showcasing a multitude of foreign producers and artists here at MiR, we occasionally enjoy showcasing some raw, local talent. This week we have one of our resident LA-producers MORTEN, showing off his latest single “Keep Me From You”. MORTEN is busy tearing up stages and festivals around the wave, mainly due to recent success with hits “Hypnotized” and “Coffee Can Money”. These recent hits have garnered plenty of support from major powerhouses such as Afrojack, Avicii, and Steve Aoki; thus putting him in quite high demand. We can’t wait to see what MORTEN will follow up with next.

Now that you are a bit familiar with him, let’s break down this latest release. “Keep Me From You” attributes most of its vocal work to Oda, who supplies plenty of mystifying and soulful vocals. This is definitely a home run, as Oda was picked after MORTEN changed the vocal track for this release nine separate times! However, the combination of MORTEN’s Cali-style and the Scandinavian vocalist definitely create a track that appeals to the idea of universal love.

Make sure you give “Keep Me From You” a full listen below:
