Jazz is Now Conquered, NGHTMRE & Big Gigantic Release New Track "Like That"

We didn’t think jazz would fit well into the NGHTMRE mold, but we have been surprised before. This week we are kicking things off with “Like That”, the latest collaboration between NGHTMRE and Big Gigantic on Mad Decent. NGHTMRE has been rather forceful and busy in 2017, with this easily flowing into 2018 With at least four major releases so far, including “Another Dimension” with Dillon Francis and “Save Yourself” with The Chainsmokers, NGHTMRE continues to pummel was until we submit to his music. On top of everything, it is about time he kicked off a new tour, pushing hard throughout 2018. 2018 has already been a monumental year for NGHTMRE, so we can only dream of what 2019 will hold.

Some of my first festivals I ever attended I saw Big Gigantic perform and immediately fell in love with their vibe. After meeting the guys on the road and getting along so well, it was an honor to work together on some musicThey are both so talented and I really feel like this song represents us both well.” – NGHTMRE

Genres are just a framework that professionals in the industry have created to organize music acts into boxes, yet there are always those who break the mold. The collaboration between these two genre-bending artists proves that any genre is not safe from the wrath of NGHTMRE. “Like That” clearly draws from plenty of jazz influences, which Big Gigantic draws from quite often; The track also has moments that are distinctly different in style so you can hear which parts each artist collaborated, yet they blend together like chocolate and vanilla. “Like That” takes the best of both artists, NGHTMRE’s heavy bass/trap sounds and Big Gigantic’s raw and organic instrumentals to create an awesome track.
