Inspiring Musician Jeffrey James Releases Powerful Yet Emotional Pop Ballad “We Could Be Heroes”
Even though you might falter once, there is always plenty of time to keep trying again. On our latest peek into the indie world we are checking out “We Can Be Heroes”, the latest single from Jeffrey James. Hailing from the great city of Nashville TN, Jeffrey James has been on the recent forefront to push the indie-pop scene to the forefront. Snagging millions of plays throughout his career so far, Jeffrey James has opened for the likes of X-Ambassadors and Hanson. Jeffrey James has even rocked the live stage, absolutely owning performances at Firefly, Bonnaroo, and Forecastle. This latest video rolls on out after Jeffrey’s latest appearance on Songland, where he had the chance to honor country legend Martina McBride with the original single “We Could Be Heroes” with Ryan Tedder.

While appearing on Songland is already a major stepping stone for many artists, it is no means an end. Originally James’s entry on his Songland appearance, “We Can Be Heroes” was a raw and meaningful pop ballad that could use a bit of tightening of loose ends. Luckily, James was paired up with producer Ryan Tedder, who aided in the track’s transformation into its more powerful form. Even though it wasn’t selected, James’s performance resonated with us and fans around the world, no doubt serving as an inspiration many needed. While we are suckers for a wide range of music, a musician belting out his raw emotions on a piano hits us to our core.
