Dubstep Mainstay Spag Heddy Says “Sorry” To His Fans with New Cheeky Melodic Single (Out Now), Announces Forthcoming Debut Album “The Noodle Effect”
While we’ve always have known dubstep to be a burst of chaotic electronic energy, with the right craftsman the sound could even be a little cheeky. On our latest peek into the EDM world we are checking out “Sorry”, the latest drop from Spag Heddy. Spag Heddy is a dubstep artist from the Netherlands who has been making music since 2011. His style is a mix of hard-hitting and melodic sounds that have earned him acclaim from industry tastemakers and fans alike. He has collaborated with many famous artists and his music can be heard in sets by Skrillex, Excision, and other big names. He has toured with Zomboy and Flux Pavilion and headlined his own tours around the world. Spag Heddy is about to release his most exciting project yet and is on his way to becoming a top artist in the genre.
“I’m releasing ‘Sorry‘ purposely as the first song of the album, expressing my apology to my fans for not releasing the album in 2022 as I had promised. ‘Sorry‘ is one of my personal favorite songs. It throws back to the Spag roots, gypsy-style melodies, and distorted wobble basses in a drumstep format. To me, it evokes a nostalgic, yet at the same time melancholic feeling, hence its title – ‘Sorry.’” – Spag Heddy
Dubstep artist Spag Heddy, who is from the Netherlands but based in Spain, has released the first single from his debut album, “Sorry,” via his independent label, Tomato Bass. The track is a nostalgic journey and a heartfelt apology to fans for delaying the album’s release until June 16, 2023. “Sorry” is the first of 15 new tracks on “The Noodle Effect,” showcasing Spag Heddy’s low-key dubstep style with distorted melodies and vocals, a slow bassline, and mechanical synths. Despite the delay, fans should look out for more announcements on Spag Heddy’s upcoming music. “Sorry” is the first of 15 brand new tracks on “The Noodle Effect,” which tells us that Spag Heddy is going to make it one-hundred percent worth waiting for.
