While we are always down with the groove of house music, sometimes we need a different outlet. This time we are checking out “dollas”, the latest from producer benny mayne over on CloudKid. For those not familiar with benny, he has been riding a tidal wave of success since his hit “bounce” shot to the top of r’n’b charts all around the globe. This has led to plenty of collaborations with Grammy-nominated/multi-platinum artists such as Williedonut and Sadmoney. benny has also now joined the Paradigm Agency, which has supported powerhouses such as Lil Uzi Vert, Skrillex, and Ed Sheeran.
benny mayne is definitely an artist who doesn’t beat around the bush with fancy metaphors and alliterations, benny just spits fire while telling listeners exactly what he wants. “dollas” is definitely not different, as benny works the seductive hooks and keeps flowing with provocative verses that will catch the attention of anyone walking by. Looking past the enticing lyrics, “dollas” is yet another fantastic example of benny’s blend of electronic beats and hip-hop. We will definitely grind to this song for plenty of those “dollas”.
