Before Launching "Snails 2.0" Tour, Snails & Zeds Dead Team Up For "Magnets" Ft. Akylla
Not even taking a minute between projects, Snails is back with a brand new project. Kicking off coverage we have “Magnets”, the latest collaboration for Snails alongside fellow producer Zeds Dead. Snails is clearly a performer that has no limits, as he has been able to garner support from powerhouses such as Diplo and Skrillex for his continuously developing “vomit-step” style. While Snails has been busy trying to find a home for his style, even jumping over to Dim Mak and Monstercat, Snails was quietly launching Slugz with a bang. Why struggle while looking for a home and not create one yourself.
“Magnets‘ is all about putting together beautiful melodies and vocals with intense basslines to create a powerful love song. The mix of all our styles complimented each other exactly how we wanted and so happy how the song came out.” – Snails
Are you ready for your next dose of “Vomitstep”? Bass heads rejoice, as Snails definitely delivered with his production skills in “Magnets”. A ridiculous rollercoaster of a track, “Magnets” successfully fluctuates between dramatic vocal work with an ethereal backdrop to hard-hitting percussive stabs and plenty of bass to test our new headphones. While you can distinctive tell which artist contributed which element, we couldn’t argue that it wasn’t a fantastic track. Who said a die-hard bass head doesn’t know romance?
