AVAION Drives Analogue Warmth & Emotional Euphoria Into Sophomore Album ‘TO MAKE PEOPLE HAPPY’
Electronic artist AVAION returns with his second album, TO MAKE PEOPLE HAPPY, a fifteen-track journey designed to move both body and mind. Known for music that thrives equally on the dancefloor and in solitary headphone moments, AVAION leans into this duality, using healing and happiness frequencies throughout the album to create an emotional uplift. The title comes from a street-side voice note he captured in Berlin, where strangers simply explained their motivations: “to make people happy.” That philosophy shapes the record, offering listeners a canvas to project their own stories while delivering moments of euphoric release.
Tracks like the opener ‘WAY YOU SMILE’ showcase this balance, transitioning from weightless vocals and subtle basslines into peak-time drops, while songs such as ‘COLORS’, ‘NEED ME’, and ‘BERLIN’ traverse genres from deep house and electro-pop to liquid UKG and minimal techno. The album also features standout hits from the past year, including viral Afro-House single ‘WACUKA’ with Sofiya Nzau, sultry ‘SLOWLY’ with RANI, and fan-favorite ID ‘HOLD ME AGAIN’. The title of AVAION’s second album, TO MAKE PEOPLE HAPPY, was inspired by a street-side moment in Berlin, where he overheard two strangers simply explain their motivations: “to make people happy.” This philosophy drives the album, resonating on the dancefloor as a conduit for joy while also serving as a blank canvas for listeners to project their own emotions and stories.
