Alok Returns With New Track “Slow It Down” and 7th Installment of His “CONTROVERSIA by Alok” Compilation Series
We’ve been playing around with the rest of the roster and now it is time to make way for the label boss himself. On our latest visit over to CONTROVERSIA we are checking out CONTROVERSIA by Alok Vol. 007, the latest compilation from Alok. Currently experiencing his global breakout moment, Alok is currently one of the most successful and trendsetting producers currently in the business. With a lengthy catalog of remixes and originals for everyone from The Rolling Stones and Zara Larsson to Jason Derulo and Tove-Lo, Alok has quickly made a worldwide community of dedicated listeners that completely line up with Alok’s mantra. To put a few things in perspective, Alok has over 20 million monthly streams on Spotify, as well as being the 2nd most followed electronic producer on Instagram. The accolades never stop, as in 2021 Alok was even named the 4th most popular DJ in the world according to the DJMAG Top 100. Yeah, when Alok is a part of the production, you have to stop and listen.

While we were first introduced to CONTROVERSIA last time we checked out a collection from Alok, CONTROVERSIA by Alok Vol. 006, it makes just logical sense to jump on the next batch. This time Alok graciously put together 17 individual tracks for the compilation, including a handful of remixes, previously released tracks, as well as exclusive singles! Alok’s newest single “Slow It Down” kicks off the compilation, setting the sultry and progressive tone of the entire 7th edition right out of the gate. CONTROVERSIA By Alok 007 is filled to the brim with diversly unique and sonic sounds, with plenty of returning and newcomer artists primed and ready to motivate the listeners onto the dancefloor. CONTROVERSIA makes it their goal to host a large diverse roster of styles and sounds and this Alok compilation series is the best example of their repertoirre.
