We "Rise" Again! Powerhouses Afrojack and Thomas Gold Releases Remixes of Nicky Romero’s "Rise"

This is nothing that we love more than when a unique brings three major powerhouses together to make it better. This time we are revisiting one of Nicky Romero’s latest tracks “Rise” for two new remixes. As we mentioned before, Romero is one of the modern producers to change and mold today’s electronic music scene how he sees fit. Not only has he founded one of the most prolific modern electronic music movements, he is constantly on DJ Mag’s Top 100 list year after year and has attributed heavily to the global spread of electronic music. We are glad to see that Romero is back in the producing chair, as the modern industry still needs a bit more of his influence.
Now who are these powerhouses you ask? Well, we spoiled it in the title (or you probably scrolled down already). Each of the producers takes different approaches to modify the original track, almost eliminating the country elements entirely. Thomas Gold converts “Rise” into a more dancefloor friendly track, focusing heavily on an absolute melody and uplifting vibes. On the other side of the coin, Afrojack gives his 100% and adds his signature progressive house style to the track, creating a track ideal or a hard-hitting club. However, both tracks incorporate Romero and Matluck’s original vocal work, truly showcasing the power of a single track.
