Toronto’s VINVAE Shares Transcendent, Boundary-Defying Debut Album When My Life Began
It is time to continue our global exploration of music, this time to the insane talent to come out of Nigeria. On our initial visit to the scene we are checking out “WHEN MY LIFE BEGAN”, the new album from VINVAE. Debuting onto the music scene in 2016, VINVAE quickly made a mark with her distinct sound but took a break in 2017 to pursue academic passions, earning degrees in public health and health planning and management from Nigerian universities. In 2023, she returned triumphantly, releasing music consistently and culminating in the compilation album “THE V ECHOES,” which showcased her artistic evolution and resonated deeply with her audience.
Outside of music, VINVAE founded the luxury silk scarf brand VINVAE VINVAE, combining her love for fashion with artistry. Her brand has gained popularity for its quality and aesthetic appeal, reflecting the individuality she brings to her music. Through both ventures, VINVAE continues to push boundaries and inspire others to embrace creativity and pursue their dreams.
Nigerian songwriter VINVAE has released her debut album When My Life Began, available on all streaming platforms. The album features 11 tracks that navigate through pop, bossa nova, R&B, and soul, highlighting her versatility and talent.
