Songwriter Jeffrey James Drops New Home Footage “Aftermath” Music Video, Happiness & Love
As it comes apparently clear, relationships are a powerful tool to channel the creative juices in the right direction. This time we are taking another visit to check songwriter Jeffrey James‘s newest music video for “Aftermath”. Hailing for the great city of Nashville TN, Jeffrey James has been on the recent forefront to push the indie-pop scene to the forefront. Snagging millions of plays throughout his career so far, Jeffrey James has opened for the likes of X-Ambassadors and Hanson. Jeffrey James has even rocked the live stage, absolutely owning performances at Firefly, Bonnaroo, and Forecastle. This latest video rolls on out after Jeffrey’s latest appearance on Songland, where he had the chance to honor country legend Martina McBride with the original single “We Could Be Heroes” with Ryan Tedder.
When we put the Nashville music scene under a microscope, indie pop is not something we thought we would find. “Aftermath” is an absolutely beautiful track, as we almost feel completely swoon by Jeffrey’s elegant and powerful voice, putting the power and emotion he feels in this track out on display. In need of a music video, Jeffrey was caught by the confines of quarantine and isolation. However, that doesn’t stop a creative mind with a vision. The music video resonates with the meaning and tone of the track, portraying an essence of true bliss that the couple portrays. Jeffrey took the time to edit home footage of him and his wife’s trip to rouville-sur-Mer in Normandy, France. The video may be simple, but it fits perfectly and is a prime example of the sign of the times.
