Snavs and John Alto Release “Headlights” – Multi-genre Metaphor of Relationship. Out now on Dim Mak Records

Even though we are finally transitioning over to Autumn, doesn’t mean that our late-night club bangers have to stop. On our latest visit to Dim Mak we are checking out “Headlights”, the latest from Snavs and John Alto. A consistent pusher of genre boundaries, Danish producer Snavs has made it his mission to change what we know as electronic music today. The label boss of Riotville Records, Snavs uses his production talent and limitless vision to collaborate across genre lines and make unique music that begs the question…why do traditional genres exist? A few of these collaborations include hardcore metal band Telos, legendary Scandinavian rocker Ulf ScottSøren Buhl of alt-rock band Blaue Blume, and indie singer Karen Lassen. Snavs clearly has a handle on what he is creating, as his music has led to performances at historic venues such as Webster Hall (New York), Avalon (Los Angeles), Bootshaus (Cologne), WOMB (Tokyo), Pacha (Sydney), as well as well-known festivals such as CoachellaTomorrowlandEDC Las VegasEurosonicMiami Music WeekAmsterdam Dance Event and more.

The track was inspired by the blending of two different music styles, with the heavier bass line and club rhythm, with the euphoric atmosphere with grand and epic melodies, perfect for anthems and large stages. The vocals play a massive part in the completion of the track, with some ear-catching lyrics that are great to sing along to. The song is about a relationship, metaphorically explained through driving at night.” – Snavs & John Alto
