R3HAB Surprises Fans With New Version of Ginuwine’s “Pony”, “My Pony”…Now With More Bass!
Even powerhouse tastemakers like today’s artist have the urge to experiment and tweak their own formulas. On our latest visit over to CYBERPVNK we are checking out “My Pony”, the latest drop from R3HAB. R3HAB has toured some of the best clubs in the world and amassed more than 300 million streams of his debut album. What is actually amazing however is that R3HAB was able to accomplish this with no major label backing, only working through his CYB3RPVNK imprint. Through his expanded efforts to increase CYB3RPVNK’s roster, R3HAB has been recruiting a fantastic variety of up-and-comers to provide a major range of music to his audience. With R3HAB consistently popping up on our radar, we have absolutely no idea what he is going to do next and can’t wait.

While we want to put it out into the ether that we love R3HAB’s music (hell for the last two years our company Spotify account was in the top 1% of listens), we’ve been waiting for a bit more variety. Looks like our wishes have been answered. While still keeping up with this trend of bringing classic songs back with an EDM coating, R3HAB’s latest addition to the catalog is a more bouncy/bass-driven variation of Ginuwine’s “Pony”. In this version, “My Pony”, we see plenty of R3HAB’s signature tempo and beats, but the producer allows the bass to breathe a bit more, thus taking a turn in the spotlight and as a more noticeable addition to the production. While everyone seems to be fascinated with bringing “Pony” back in some form or another, R3HAB’s version has just the right balance of expansion and typical R3HAB elements to fit right at home with the rest of his catalog.
