Protocol’s Timmo Hendriks Drops Debut “Follow You” EP, A New Milestone in His Producing Career
Many genres come and go, ebb and flow with the trends, but we are always intrigued when we sit on the front lines as a subgenre sees a resurgence. On our latest visit over at Protocol Recordings we were able to check out Follow You, a brand new three-track EP from Timmo Hendriks. Debuting on the label in 2016, Timmo collaborated with Lindequist on “Ziema” their best-selling song to date These Dutch producers may just be up and comers, but they are making serious waves with their high energy production. Timmo will continue to support the main roster and you should keep him on your radar. We were major fans of Timmo and Jordan Grace’s previous collaboration on “Memories“, but the more we explore Timmo’s discography the more he is quickly becoming a Modern Neon favorite. We feature plenty of artists from Protocol Recordings, yet almost every time we cover a Timmo Hendriks drop we are in for a surprising treat.
While Timmo has been making waves in the EDM community for the last few years, he hasn’t officially dropped a debut EP to the masses…until now. Utilizing Timmo’s tech house background, this brand new Follow You EP puts all of the producer’s skills and dynamic sounds on display for anyone who wants to take a listen. The EP features two brand new tracks, “Follow You” as well as “Be The Same” with Lindequist, also including Timmo’s previous collab with Jordan Grace “Memories”. The EP’s title track, “Follow You”, garners up memories of a bygone era, where EDM festival mainstages would lead to epic big room experiences that would be absolutely unforgettable for the average concert-goer. On the flip side, “Be The Same” takes a more melodramatic approach to the core concepts of progressive house. If there is any way we can wrap up the Follow You EP, it is that it is a major milestone in Timmo’s career and we can’t wait to see how he absolutely destroys 2021.
