Protocol Drops Two New Mixes of “One Inside” From Marcus Santoro & Tim van Werd
Who doesn’t love those moments when you are creatively vibing with another artist, and you end up making more than jut one piece of gold? On this week’s visit over to Protocol we are checking out two mixes of “One Inside” from Marcus Santoro and Tim van Werd. Marcus Santoro is still relatively new on the scene, but with a few notches under his belt. Since originally joining the scene, Santoro has released multiple tracks and remixes on the Enhanced, Armada, and Flashover labels finally settling in with Protocol. Since joining Protocol back in 2019, Santoro has attributed his talents to the rest of the Protocol roster, making his style know to the masses. This time Santoro joins forces with Tim van Werd, who has burst onto the scene in the last few years with his aggressive dark progressive house sound. Tim’s work has garnered plenty of support from major powerhouse players such as Martin Garrix, David Guetta, Afrojack, Nicky Romero, and Sam Feldt.
When it comes to collaborations underneath the electric sky, we’ve found pulling talent from across the globe produces interesting results. “One Inside” is the latest major collaboration under the Protocol banner, featuring Dutch producer Marcus Santoro, Aussie Tim van Werd, and British singer Mila Falls. Unable to put a cork on the creative energy flowing out of the studio, both producers melded their styles together into two different mixes, the “Main Mix” and “After Hours Mix”. Both thriving in the realm of progressive house, Santoro takes the main mix and creates a festival-ready headlining banger primed and ready with that big room feel. The “After Hours” mix thrives on the darker end of progressive music, perfect for those whose late nights often turn into early mornings.
