Proper In-studio Vibe Helps Brooks and Repiet Collaborate On Their New Single “I Don’t Wanna Know.” Out Now on Future House Music

Dutch producer Brooks has spent over seven years shaping his own electrifying brand of rhythmic electro house, standing out with his innovative sound and high-energy productions. Gaining global recognition through a steady stream of impactful releases, he has worked with industry heavyweights like David Guetta and Martin Garrix, co-producing the worldwide platinum hit Like I Do. His music blends melodic elements with hard-hitting drops, earning him a reputation as both a studio innovator and a dynamic live performer, captivating audiences across Europe, Asia, and beyond.

After a two-year hiatus, Brooks has made a strong comeback with his track Let It Out, marking the start of a new era with consistent new releases ahead. With continued support from Martin Garrix and high praise from David Guetta—who hails him as “one of the best producers he has ever seen”—Brooks is poised for even greater success, reaffirming his status as a major force in electronic dance music.

Repiet‘s music had been showing up in DJ sets more and more over the years. Since we started talking and exchanging demos, we’ve noticed how much we share our love for the same genres, so it made sense to start working on something together. The funny thing is that, for me, it’s actually one of the first times where we didn’t really have any clear way to divide the parts of the track. We’re both super technical and really like the sound design and messing around with new plugins, so we literally both sat down in the studio and worked on every single part together, and the process was fully organic. What I like most about the track – all the fresh new sounds! We saw what we do differently and combined everything into ‘I Don’t Wanna Know.’ Personally, it feels like the perfect mix of the more ‘known’ sounds we both have and what’s coming up next. It was also very pleasant and refreshing to just sit with someone in the studio who has the same sarcastic humor as me, which clearly helped to set the right vibe in the room, instead of working remotely” – Brooks

House producers Brooks and Repiet join forces for their first-ever collaboration, I Don’t Wanna Know, released via Future House Music as the label celebrates its 10-year anniversary. Infused with an electrifying, party-ready energy, the track stands out not only for its dynamic basslines, digitized vocals, and infectious melodies but also for its unique creative process. Unlike many modern collaborations pieced together remotely, the duo crafted this track together in the studio with no structured workflow—just pure spontaneity and unfiltered musical chemistry.

The result is a euphoric, whimsical anthem that perfectly blends both artists’ signature styles while carrying a fresh, unpredictable edge. As Brooks humorously puts it, “Sometimes, making music is just about having fun… and trying to convince yourself you know what you’re doing.” This free-spirited approach shines through in the track’s effortless charm, proving that sometimes, the best music comes from simply letting go.
