Nicky Romero Continues His “Nightvision” EP Rollout with Dark Dancefloor Filler “Desire” With TELYKAST & Linney.
When you have this music build up and moving parts around a project like Nightvision, you know that you can’t peel your eyes away for even a second. On our latest visit to Protocol Recordings we are checking out “Desire”, the latest from Nicky Romero, TELYKAST, and Linney. Romero is one of the modern producers to change and mold today’s electronic music scene how he sees fit. Not only has he founded one of the most prolific modern electronic music movements, but he is also constantly on DJ Mag’s Top 100 list year after year and has attributed heavily to the global spread of electronic music. Romero continues to surprise us, even dropping a mini-doc series back in 2019 and multiple successful releases now that he’s back on the wagon. Hell, he even put on one hell of a performance at the London opening of the Call of Duty League eSports tournament. Romero’s list of accomplishments keeps growing, now including a multiple new partnerships as Romero continues to explore more avenues to further expand his influence.
Romero collaborates with artist duo TELYKAST and singer-songwriter Linney for his latest track “Desire,” the third release from his upcoming EP “Nightvision” and coinciding with his solo show of the same name. Departing from his mainstream sound, “Desire” introduces a mysteriously emotive atmosphere with Linney’s captivating vocals taking the spotlight. Romero and TELYKAST blend deep bass elements and ominous melodies, crafting a sultry and hypnotic club track set to ignite dance floors during the fall and winter seasons. Fans can catch “Desire” live at Amsterdam’s AFAS Live during Romero’s open-to-close performance on December 02, promising an electrifying journey through the depths of electronic music.
