GRAMMY Nominees Robin Schulz and Steve Aoki Join Forces for Very First Time on “Bloodtype” with LAWRENT. Out Now on Warner Music

German superstar DJ and producer Robin Schulz has evolved from his small-town roots in Osnabrück into one of the world’s most successful electronic artists, boasting over 20 billion streams, 30 million sales, and 15 #1 hits. Known for his signature blend of house, electro, and pop, Schulz has headlined sold-out shows worldwide, held a residency at Pacha Ibiza, and performed at festivals like Tomorrowland and Ultra. His breakthrough remix of “Prayer in C” defined a decade of melodic deep house, while his megahit “Sugar” recently joined Spotify’s Billions Club—cementing his place among Germany’s most celebrated musical exports.

Joining him is Steve Aoki, the 2x GRAMMY-nominated DJ, producer, and entrepreneur whose nine-album discography includes collaborations with BTS, Linkin Park, and Maluma. Founder of the influential Dim Mak Records and the philanthropic AOKI Foundation, Aoki has also made waves in fashion, film, and literature, chronicling his story in the Grammy-nominated I’ll Sleep When I’m Dead and memoir BLUE. Rising star LAWRENT rounds out the lineup, bringing Paris-meets-London energy and over 1 billion streams to the stage. Known for euphoric, festival-ready anthems like “Euphoria” with Armin van Buuren and “End Of Time” with Lucas & Steve, LAWRENT blends influences from Daft Punk to Empire of the Sun, quickly becoming one of dance music’s most exciting new names. Together, they represent three generations of global electronic innovation.

After more than a decade of sharing festival lineups and backstage moments, Robin Schulz and Steve Aoki have finally joined forces in the studio, teaming up with rising London-based producer LAWRENT for their first-ever collaboration, “Bloodtype.” The track is a dark, high-octane club banger that finds Schulz leaning deeper into electronic territory than he has in years, powered by Aoki’s trademark energy and LAWRENT’s sharp, euphoric sound design. Built for peak-time sets, it surges with erupting basslines, frenzied beats, and bursts of white noise that teeter on the edge of chaos while maintaining perfect control.

Lyrically, “Bloodtype” captures the fleeting, electric connection of a club-floor encounter — flashing lights, blurred silhouettes, eyes locking before the night spirals into something unforgettable. Its hook, “Imma give you my bloodtype / Baby, you’re just my bloodtype,” is delivered in a cool, commanding vocal that seals the track’s hypnotic pull. Already a highlight of Schulz’s 2025 festival sets at Tomorrowland, Parookaville, Electric Love, and his Pacha Ibiza residency, the single is now out worldwide via Warner Music, primed to dominate dance floors from summer through after-hours.
