From Opposite Sides of the Spectrum, NGHTMRE and The Chainsmokers Release "Save Yourself"
Not going to lie, this a combination that we didn’t see coming. Serving as the soundtrack to your after-work hi-jinks we have “Save Yourself”, the latest release from MiR favorite NGHTMRE and the mega-popular duo The Chainsmokers. NGHTMRE has been rather forceful and busy in 2017, with this easily flowing into 2018 With at least four major releases so far, including “Another Dimension” with Dillon Francis and “Here Comes the Night” with DJ Snake, NGHTMRE continues to pummel was until we submit to his music. On top of everything, it is about time he kicked off a new tour, pushing hard into 2018. 2018 has already been a monumental year for NGHTMRE so far and we are just barely halfway through.
“The guys and I had been talking about working on something together for a little while. I was excited to hear they wanted to create a heavier track with more of a festival vibe. Everything just came together so perfectly in the end and the track has been smashing in our live shows. Hope you guys like it as much as we do!” – NGHTMRE
There are many moments in music where two artists who are definitely on different ends of the spectrum should not collaborate, luckily this is not one of those moments. “Save Yourself” is the lovely clash between Chainsmokers’ catchy, high energy vocal work and NGHTMRE’s heavy bass lines and technical production prowess. The genre-blurring track showcases just exactly what can happen when these two pair up to absolutely destroy the modern-day radio waves. These synths will stab you to death.
“Tyler (NGHTMRE) has been a good friend of ours for some time and we always talked about how great it would be to work together on a song. We have always been a huge fan of his style of producing and thought that if we came together on a song we could make something really unique and badass, and the idea of making something really gnarly was very appealing. We come from the dance world, those are our roots and we are really excited to release a song that is deeply rooted in that with NGHTMRE. We think our fans will be really excited about this one!” – The Chainsmokers
