Carnage’s Heavyweight Records Drops Live Twitch Demo Collection “Lockdown” EP
When you have as many fantastic bass musicians in one imprint, you might as well flaunt it. This week we are taking another beat over at Heavyweight Records led by Carnage himself for their brand new Lockdown EP. This Vegas-based producer made himself a pioneer in the hard bass and trap communities, finding his strive quickly. Carnage was even one of the first major artists to incorporate hip-hop elements into his work, creating a hard bass and urban style. Carnage went on to create Heavyweight Records in 2017, surrounding himself with crazily unique producers in the hardcore and hip-hop genres.
While most people are stuck in quarantine, more and more producers and artists are finding ways to entertain the masses. This latest drop from Heavyweight, the brand new Lockdown EP, is actually a solid collection of six tracks pulled from various live demos premiered over on the label’s Twitch channel! Lockdown reaches across the entire spectrum of bass music, providing a track to fit whatever your bass music needs may be. Utilizing the bass talents of 2AM & Elusion, Fito Silva, Steez, Freaky x Hay!, Elle, and Zoobstool, each producer brings their own style to the piece as a whole. The first half may break your bones and shake you to your core, but the 2nd half takes your to the dark side. As Heavyweight’s roster continues to grow, we will keep and eye on their bass producers that rise to the top.
