Amsterdam Dance Event is Here, Clear The Stage For Annual EP “Protocol Lab: ADE 2021”!
With another Amsterdam Dance Event in the books, you know what that means! On our latest visit over to Protocol we are checking out Protocol Lab – ADE 2021, the newest EP from the Protocol lab. Led by Nicky Romero, the Protocol roster has been growing all year and is ready to showcase some of the cream of their crop. Romero is one of the modern producers to change and mold today’s electronic music scene how he sees fit. Not only has he founded one of the most prolific modern electronic music movements, but he is also constantly on DJ Mag’s Top 100 list year after year and has attributed heavily to the global spread of electronic music. Romero continues to surprise us, even dropping a mini-doc series back in 2019 and multiple successful releases now that he’s back on the wagon. Hell, he even put on one hell of a performance at the London opening of the Call of Duty League eSports tournament!
These drops are easily our favorite annual releases from Protocol so we are glad to check out the latest in the series! An annual showcase of what the Protocol roster has to offer, this year the ADE 2021 showcase features 5 brand new tracks by Almero, Thomas Nan, Sisters Cap, SOLR and Nicky Romero himself! Protocol Lab – ADE 2021 opens with Romero’s own “Love Me Better”, a return to classic progressive/big room house, crafted to ignite the audience and increase their energy levels in preparation for Protocol’s talented roster to run wild. “Love Me Better” sets the stage for our favorite track on the EP, Almero’s “Falling Into You”, which keeps the party lively and easily serves as the ignition for all of the pent of festival energy that we’ve been holding onto. After over a year and a half of no events, we are glad this showcase was finally able to happen!
