Fresh off a sold-out North American tour that hit major cities including Denver, Montreal, Chicago, Washington D.C., San Francisco, New York City, and Toronto, multi-platinum Dutch DJ, producer, and futurist Don Diablo makes his debut on Canadian label Monstercat under his experimental CONTROL ALT DΞLΞTΞ alias. His new track “Amsterdam” marks a bold sonic departure, blending cinematic melodies, distorted vocal chops, and high-energy drum & bass production with grime influences. The release coincides with the announcement of his first Amsterdam homecoming show since 2018, set for September 19 at the legendary Paradiso, where he’ll swap massive stadium production for an intimate, roots-inspired set.
The track and show announcement cap off what’s shaping up to be a landmark year for Don Diablo. Highlights so far include a headline collaboration with Nelly Furtado, his debut on Australian tastemaker label Sweat It Out, and the 10-year anniversary of his pioneering HEXAGON imprint.
