Viennese Indie Pop Singer & Songwriter OSKA Releases Sophomore Allbum ‘Refined Believer’
OSKA, originally from a small village in Lower Austria, moved to Vienna at 18 to pursue music, busking on the streets while studying pop and jazz vocals. Her dedication led to a 2020 signing with Nettwerk and the release of her debut EP Honeymoon Phase in 2021, which earned critical praise and notable awards like the XA Music Export Award and an Amadeus Austrian Music Award. Her breakthrough continued with a nomination for the Anchor Award at Reeperbahn Festival, where she caught the attention of Tom Odell, who invited her to support him on his European tour.
In 2022, OSKA released her debut album My World, My Love, Paris, a heartfelt exploration of family, youth, and growing up, characterized by candid lyrics and tender melodies. Alongside touring with artists like Odell, Stu Larsen, and HAEVN, she performed at Eurosonic 2023, receiving the prestigious Music Moves Europe Talent Award—joining the ranks of artists like Rosalía and Dua Lipa. With her honest storytelling and emotive performances, OSKA is rapidly establishing herself as a distinctive new voice in contemporary music.
