Andrew Meller began his journey in electronic music in 2009, experimenting with projects like ReWire, Beat And Juice, and Depth Perception. In 2014, he adopted his current alias, giving him a solo platform to fully explore his sound. His music blends House, Deep House, Tech House, and Techno, reflecting a refined understanding of production and performance developed over years of experimentation and live shows.
Meller’s productions have gained international recognition, earning support from top-tier artists such as Mau P, Carl Cox, Max Styler, Solomun, and Nic Fanciulli. With the launch of his REWLER Records imprint, he now has a platform to showcase the full range of his influences from his 15-year career. As he continues to grow his presence across clubs and festivals worldwide, Meller is solidifying his reputation as both a versatile producer and a captivating live performer.
Serbia’s underground standout Andrew Meller makes his debut on Insomniac’s IN / ROTATION sub-label with his latest single, “Highwave.” The track is a club-ready roller that highlights Meller’s knack for crafting hypnotic, punchy grooves, blending House, Tech House, and dark Techno elements to create a sound perfectly suited for both energetic dancefloors and intimate underground rooms.
“Highwave” channels the spirit of early-2000s minimal techno, driven by relentless, propulsive drums, slinky basslines, and intricate textures including warbling modulations, sitar accents, and looping vocals. Meller describes the track as “all about elevation,” designed for loud systems and restless spirits, demonstrating his ability to fuse old-school club grit with modern production techniques to deliver a track that is both immersive and irresistibly danceable.
