Every time we start to refocus our efforts to a different region, MDLBEAST claws back our attention with a new initiative. On our latest visit to MDLBEAST we are checking out a brand new R3HAB remix of “Goumi”, the mega-hit from Myriam Fares. Myriam Fares is a highly acclaimed Arab international superstar who has made a significant impact in the music and entertainment industry. Over the course of her 20-year career, she has achieved global recognition and has become the first Arab artist to successfully cross over to different cultures worldwide. With a diverse discography of over 12 albums and singles, Myriam’s songs are known for their upbeat vibe and originality, appealing even to non-Arabic speaking audiences. One of her songs, “Goumi,” gained immense popularity through a viral dance challenge on TikTok, garnering over 10 billion views. She was also chosen by FIFA to represent the Arab world at the FIFA World Cup in 2022, collaborating with artists Nicki Minaj and Maluma for the official FIFA Fan Festival Anthem, “Tukoh Taka.” Myriam’s talents extend beyond music, as she is also a successful actress, starring in popular series like “Itiham” and movies such as “Silina.” Additionally, she was featured in a documentary titled “Myriam Fares: The Journey,” which gained widespread acclaim upon its release in 2021.
