Emmy Adelle, originally from the Chicago suburbs and now based in Miami, is a half Filipino artist crafting a unique blend of organic and electronic pop with haunting melodies. Singing has been her emotional outlet since she performed One Republic’s “Stop and Stare” in her second-grade talent show. Growing up as an only child, she started writing songs as an anxious elementary schooler and even turned down a Division 1 college hockey offer to chase her creative dreams.
Drawing inspiration from artists like Olivia Rodrigo, Juice WRLD, Odesza, and Troye Sivan, Emmy’s music is energetic and emotionally captivating. She’s collaborated with producers like Cole Kruggel (Juice WRLD, Tory Lanez) and Danny Garcia (Ariana Grande, Jason Derulo), honing her craft since childhood. Her debut electro-pop single “Over” is just the beginning, with more releases planned this year, showcasing her dedication and unique sound.
“‘Over’ is a deeply personal track that discusses stuff we all go through but rarely admit out loud. I wrote it during a pretty crazy time in my life, trying to make sense of the highs and lows of a situationship that felt like a rollercoaster. The lyrics capture those fleeting moments of happiness and thrifted jeans mixed with the sting of separation. It’s a snapshot of a spark that was both intense and short-lived.”
