Digital Farm Animals & Kelli-Leigh Give Helix Records An Actual Club Single With Disco “Streets of Gold”
When you have the chance to run wild and still give a new label its first proper club release, you grab onto that opportunity with all your might. On our first visit over to Helix Records we are checking out “Streets of Gold”, the newest drop from Digital Farm Animals and Kelli-Leigh. While we are often busy staring longingly at Europe for our house music bangers, perhaps we need to shift back to the United Kingdom for a quick reminder. Both Digital Farm Animals and Kelli-Leigh are the first ones to give Helix Records a proper club single, especially when the label was created by former Ultra Music CEO Patrick Moxey. With two superb creative musicians on the same track, you’re bound to uncover the fact that at least one of them has the Midas Touch. Hell, Digital Farm Animals snagged high-profile collaborations with artists such as Dua Lipa, Bebe Rexha, Alan Walker, Craig David, Anne-Marie, and KSI. On the flip side, Kelli-Leigh has worked with the likes of Duke Dumont, Jax Jones, and Low Steppa, among others, including touring alongside Adele during her 21 tour.

While we’ve been fully emersed in the EDM for quite a large portion of our lives, we always love singles that can fuse drastically different singles into something completely their own. While they could have just set out to craft a tech-house or UK garage cut and dry single, Digital Farm Animals and Kelli-Leigh decided to bring back the sounds of disco and provide it a fresh coat of paint for 2022. Utilizing energetic piano chords and Kelli’s soulful vocals to set the stage right out of the gate, “Streets of Gold” quickly evolves into a modern progressive house gem that we eagerly want to experience on a large festival stage like yesterday. With upcoming collaborations with Marshmello, Khalid, Surfaces, Tiësto, Avril Lavigne, David Guetta, Ty Dolla Sign, and more, we hope that “Streets Of Gold” continues Digital Farm Animal’s major hot streak and ultimate domination of the dance music scene.
