After a Two Year Break, Dutch Producer Navarra Revisits Protocol With the Melodic “Repeat”
Even though there are many times you just need to take a break and try other ventures, it is often a sweet visit when you drop by once again. For our weekly Protocol visit we are checking out “Repeat”, the first track in two years on the Protocol label from Dutch producer Navarra. Coming from an interesting mixture of classical and electronic music background. Navarra’s skills lie in crafting uplifting yet melodic house music. Navarra officially debuted back in 2016 with “Crossroads”, setting him up for a quick track up the Protocol roster. Navarra later released his remix of MiR’s favorite track of 2017, Sam Void’s “On My Mind”, which pushed him further into the eyes of Protocol fans before going dark…until now.
“Repeat” is such a pleasant track compared to what we have been listening to lately and we are glad to have a chance to hear it. Navarra as an impressive knack for bringing out all of the energetic and uplifting elements from electronic-pop tracks and elevating them to enhance our experience as listeners. “Repeat” is the culmination of a bouncy bassline, groovy melodies, and vocal work that feels almost unworldly. The track is filled with pure emotion, filling listeners with hope and desire to push themselves to a brighter future…or just to the dancefloor for a thrilling experience.
