PLS&TY Releases Multifaceted, Travel-Inspired Full Length EP “3 Days, 2 Nights” Featuring 2 Exclusive Tracks
After an entire season of teasing and chaos, we’re ready to experience 3 Days, 2 Nights. On our latest peek into the music world we are checking out 3 Days, 2 Nights, the latest EP drop from PLS&TY. PLS&TY is constantly striving for success in the modern bass music scene, developing his new languid bass style to completely flip the modern industry on its head. PLS&TY has had plenty of success after signing with Universal Music Group, PLS&TY’s “Good Vibes” rocketed him to the top of the charts, reaching #1 in multiple countries. He has even taken the world of television into his hands, with multiple remixes appearing on multiple series. His own remix of Genevieve’s “Colors” was featured in a Hershey’s chocolate commercial and snagged a cool billion views. He even dropped the new Very Special EP back in April that features tracks with artists like Sean Kingston, Wifisfuneral, & Alex Aiono.
“Are you up for a free ‘3 Days, 2 Nights‘ vacation? As the ‘3 Days, 2 Nights‘ project unveils, each song and album cover take inspiration from the day and night motifs/themes of the EP titling, progressing in the order of the tracklisting from day to night. There is something for everyone here – music for all moods, places, seasons, and times. The project stands on new ground for the direction of PLS&TY original music moving forward – born out of a place of freedom to create without bounds or borders, or in an attempt to fit the confines of a particular genre that fans may have previously known me for. I’m very lucky to include the talents of Ben Samama, Jocelyn Alice, Lost Boy, Tudor, and more. Enjoy my favorite body of work to date.” – PLS&TY
On the daytime side of the EP, PLS&TY treats us to two previously released tracks: “Party In My Head” featuring Lost Boy and “New Color.” These songs radiate infectious energy and catchy melodies, perfectly suited for vibrant daytime settings. However, it is on the nighttime side of the EP where PLS&TY ventures into deeper, more underground territories. Collaborating with Tudor on “Yours,” and featuring Ben Samama on “Upside,” he explores a darker and more introspective sonic landscape, captivating listeners with intricate soundscapes and hypnotic beats. In addition to the previously released tracks, PLS&TY also introduces two brand new exclusive songs to the EP. “Limit” embodies the essence of euphony, blending melodic elements with a smooth, rolling bassline to create a groovy and effortlessly enjoyable record. Meanwhile, “Echoes” captivates from its very first notes, with cinematic melodies and mesmerizing vocals that transport listeners on a euphoric journey from the sandy shores to the pulsating dance floor.
Through the “3 Days, 2 Nights” EP, PLS&TY makes a resounding statement that his music defies classification within a single box or genre. His ability to seamlessly navigate between light and dark, and to explore diverse sounds and moods, is a testament to his artistic versatility. As listeners, we eagerly await the continuation of PLS&TY’s musical journey throughout the year, excited to witness his continued growth and exploration of new sonic territories.
