If we have learned anything over the last few years, its that taking a hiatus may almost be necessary to come back even stronger than you were in your heyday. This time we are checking out “Live Forever”, the latest single and tribute from Project 46. Initially active back in 2011, Canadian duo Ryan Henderson and Thomas Shaw joined forces as Project 46 and uplifted their listeners to look to a brighter future with their melodic tone. Up until 2016, Project 46 was incredibly busy and popular with releases on Ultra Records, Monstercat, Armada, and Mixmash as well as collabs with Avicii, Kaskade, and Paul Oakenfold to name a few. Now, four years after their initial hiatus, Project 46 returns to provide audiences with a flair of golden progressive house.
After taking an extended hiatus, we weren’t exactly sure what kind of Project 46 content we were going to receive. So now that we have been treating to not one, not two, but four new songs, as well as the newest being a tribute? Hell yes we are on board. “Live Forever” is a beautiful track that embraces the most glorious elements of house music, while at the same time paying homage to the everlasting impact that Avicii had on the EDM community. With multiple collaborations with Avicii in the past on tracks like “Fade Into Darkness”, “I Could Be the One”, and “Crime”, we couldn’t see anyone else creating a 2020 tribute like this. “Live Forever” is a must-listen track if you are a fan of progressive house or have a soft spot for Avicii.
Make sure you check out “Live Forever” on Spotify!
