Singer Songwriter Anna Klein Drops New “Lonely” Music Video, Showing Dream Pop in Full Force
Our love for music starts at a young age, often arising at a rather young and impressible age. On our latest trip up to Toronto we are checking out “Lonely”, the latest single from singer-songwriter Anna Klein. Discovering music in her pre-teen years, Anna Klein began writing songs at a time where she looked at the world through rose-colored glasses. As the years passed, Klein came from an acoustic background into the electronic world and found her niche in the dream-pop pool. With her new-found knowledge in using instruments to assist in portraying the emotions she wanted to show, Klein dropped her debut album These Days back in 2018. Now with multiple protects in the fire as a group and solo, we can’t wait to see how Klein crushes the rest of 2020.
As her freshest drop of 2020, “Lonely” serves as an introduction to the sounds of Anna Klein, polished and ready to go for 2020. Sultry and inviting, Klein’s “Lonely” almost entices the listener to donate their time, listening to more of her music as we wait for time to pass us on by. Written and produced by Klein herself, the track proves that not only can she write catchy lyrics, produce a killer dream pop beat, but also sing in an aesthetically pleasing way. It is abundantly clear that Klein’s love for music as an art form is authentic in nature, especially as she dives in to the over saturated dream-pop genre. Will she help lead dream pop down a new path? We will have to wait and see.
