Russian Producer Dropgun Recruits RØGUENETHVN & Pillows For the Reminiscent “Same Things”

Now we have to say that these may be the oddest artist names that we have heard in a while, yet their track hits us right in the sweet spot. On our weekend journey we stopped by CYB3RPVNK for “Same Things”, a debut track for both Dropgun and RØGUENETHVN. These producers will find plenty of space to spread their wings under R3HAB’s CYB3RPVNK banner.  Since this adventure began, R3HAB has toured some of the best clubs in the world and amassed more than 300 million streams of his debut album. What is actually amazing however is that R3HAB was able to accomplish this with no major label backing, only working through his CYB3RPVNK imprint. So we are glad to see that as CYB3RPVNK continues to grow and thrive, more artists are joining the fray.

We haven’t listened to a debut track like this in ages and it is actually quite refreshing. Russian producers Dropgun, along with newcomers RØGUENETHVN, blew us out of the park with this track, marking a strong first release on the CYB3RPVNK label. Dropgun adds his traditional EDM sound to frame the track, while RØGUENETHVN builds upon it with groovy melodies, plenty of solid synth work, as well as bass instrumentals that tie “Same Things” together. The track is oddly nostalgic and reminiscent, reminding us of why we fell in love with electronic music in the first place.

Make sure you check out “Same Things” on Spotify and on YouTube!
