NGHTMRE & A$AP Ferg Predict a Grim Future in "REDLIGHT"

Everything is clear now, there are some producers that you can’t hold back. Kicking things off we are jumping back over to Ultra Music for “REDLIGHT”, NGHTMRE and A$AP Ferg’s highly anticipated track.   NGHTMRE has been rather forceful and busy in 2018, with this easily flowing into 2019. On top of everything, NGHTMRE has been incredibly busy on tour, hitting every major festival as well as a residency at Hakkasan in Las Vegas. 2018 was a monumental year for NGHTMRE, so we can only dream of what the rest 2019 will hold. NGHTMRE isn’t the only one on this track with accolades though, as A$AP Ferg graces us with a solid rap performance on this track. Launching his career back in 2013, A$AP Ferg has already made a name for himself as a stand-out rapper, even earning the sweet triple platinum ranking for his single “Plain Jane”. When A$AP isn’t busy with his solo career, he is also apart of the A$AP Mob and runs multiple businesses…as well as an established painting hobby!

A$AP Ferg is one of the hip hop icons I’ve always dreamed of working with. It took a lot of time and effort to really make this record come together, but throughout the process, I’ve gained even more respect for Ferg and his vision. Throughout the shoot, Ferg was on-site, giving new ideas and feedback. It was an honor to be able to create a piece of art with this legend.“- NGHTMRE
NGHTMRE is an amazingly talented producer and DJ. It was a thrill to work with him on this song and video!“- A$AP Ferg

There are some serious gems coming out of electronic and hip hop collaborations, and we are glad NGHTMRE is one of the artists leading the charge. “REDLIGHT” opens up with foreboding orchestral music, setting the tone that the end is near for our future dystopian society. This track lets NGHTMRE showcase his already superb production skills in a somewhat fresh way yet at the same time let A$AP spit explosive verses that give us an idea of what awaits us. The music video release along with the track gives us a very clear idea of the purpose of “REDLIGHT”, making the track even more powerful and volatile.
