More From Protocol: Funkybeats and Asters Release New Track “Jupiter”

Alright Protocol, you are normally great to our little Mir family…will that continue? Of course it will! This time we have the latest release of the Protocol fresh meat, Funkybeat and Asters. Both hailing from Italy, Funky and Asters come from very different genres of electronic music. On one hand, Funkybeat is overly inspired by the funk and disco beats of the 70s. Wile on the other hand, Asters takes a more modern approach driving inspiration from the likes of Hardwell. We will definitely add these two up and comers onto our radar immediately. Thanks Protocol!

As for “Jupiter”, the track doesn’t feel like it belongs in our era. Not saying it doesn’t fit in nicely though. The track as a disco (albeit almost jazzy) vibe and melody, while at the same time has instrumentals that can find their roots in funk. “Jupiter” is and will be the mood-riser in our playlist, guaranteed to dig us out of the dumps for the rest of the day…or at least until the next track. If this is what Protocol is putting out now, we can’t wait to see what else they can do. All we can say is that we would like to hear a vocal mix of “Jupiter”, and some time soon.

Make sure to stream “Jupiter” below!
