Electric Prodigy Throttle Drops “Dreamer” 1st Monstercat Track in Six Years.

When you enter into an artistic or music inclined career, you need to be prepared for stylistic changes as you age and grow. Finally, we have finished our trek back to Monstercat for “Dreamer”, the most recent release from Throttle. His first track on the Monstercat label in six years, Throttle has changed and grown since his 14-year-old bedroom producer days.  Throttle has collaborated with high profile artists such as Galantis and Oliver Heldens, as well as officially remixing Ed Sheeran and performing at Tomorrowland, even before he was legally allowed to drink. Throttle has numerous production, remix, and original credits earning him a home at Universal, Warner Music, Spinnin’ Records, and PRMD. He currently rakes in about 200 million Spotify streams on a monthly basis, so he’s kind of a big deal.

“‘Dreamer‘ is the start of a new chapter for me. It is about tearing down any creative walls I’ve built for myself and creating a full experience with my music. Monstercat is not only the most forward-thinking label in the industry but were the first to believe in me when I was a 14-year-old bedroom producer. I couldn’t think of a better partner to have alongside me for this new project.” – Throttle

Throttle’s latest track, “Dreamer”, is quite the departure from his last Monstercat release. “Dreamer” embodies all of those changes that he has made over the years to become the prodigy he is known as now. The track feels unreal and emotional, designed to lift up your emotions to look toward a brighter future. The track actually reminds us quite a bit of Porter Robinson’s “Shelter“, with blissfully elevating melodies that highlight our love for electronic music.  Throttle, this track has shown have much you have grown as an artist, and we can’t wait to see what else you triumph over.

Make sure you check out “Dreamer” on Spotify and YouTube!
