Are You “Tempted”? Check Out the Latest From Rainer + Grimm

It is about time we had another visit some friends from just north of us. Kicking off this weekend we have the latest from Canadian R&B producers Rainer + Grimm. These MiR newcomers started up in 2014 after they met in music school, coming together to form the project know as Rainer + Grimm. This project was only fuel to the fire, bringing both underground dance music and the Toronto R&B scenes together into a blissful hybrid. The duo has garnered quite a bit of success with their remixes, such as their remix of Sam Smith’s “Stay With Me”, even going as far as to reach #1 on The Hype Machine. We need to keep an eye on this project as we will be seeing more throughout the rest of the year.

“Tempted” is a sultry track that accurately showcases R+G’s style, a fusion of deep house and R&B. The vocal work tempts us to come closer, yet only to tease us over and over. The vocals were outsourced to the pop musical group Beach Season, so it is no wonder why we are tempted so much. R+G is no stranger to making massive hits, so it is no wonder that “Tempted” will blaze up the charts. If we had to describe the track, it would be romance in sonic form, While flirty and playful on the surface, there is only a bundle of energy hiding underneath.

Make sure you give “Tempted” a full listen below:
